PALESTINIAN AUTHOR AHMED MASOUD IN MILAN (Sept. 23 and 25), TRIESTE (Sept. 27) – Presentations of his novel “Scomparso- La misteriosa sparizione di Mustafa Ouda”

Palestinian novelist and dramatist  Ahmed Masoud will continue his 2021 Italian tour presenting the Italian translation of his 2015 novel  set in Gaza over a thirty period,”Vanished: the Mysterious Disappearance of Mustafa Ouda” (Scomparso- La misteriosa sparizione di Mustafa Ouda” Lebeg 2019), in three North Italian venues at the end of September: 1) at the legendary  left wing bookshop Calusca on September 23, at 8,30 PM preceded at  6,30PM by the live the band Trio Osmosi and aperitivo (translator Pina Piccolo and presenter Dario Briani will be in conversation with him, in English with italian translation, excerpts from the novel will be read in Italian by Miriam Ullrich). 2) on September 25 in Milan at the bookshop-bistrot Anarres at 5 PM, Dario Briani in conversation with the author, readings by Miriam Ullrich, discussion with the translator.  3) In Trieste, September 27, at bar-bookshop Knulp, at 6PM, conversation with the author, and readings by Maurizio Milovan organized by Ibriq, a group for the promotion of Palestinian culture and its cause.
